Shana is a highly skilled Registered Nurse with over 11 years of comprehensive experience in both military and private healthcare settings. With a dedication to delivering culturally competent care, Shana has consistently maintained high standards for patients of diverse ages and needs.

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in GA (License number: RN272087) since 2011, Shana also holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and is an American Heart Association Certified Instructor. Her skills encompass a broad range, including nursing assessment, diagnosis, care planning, and evaluation for patients of all age groups. She excels in family-centered care and has actively participated in departmental improvement programs, taking on roles such as Safety Officer, Unit Morale Officer, and Unit Nursing Council Chair.

Shana's professional journey includes roles as a Perioperative Nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital (Savannah, GA), where she demonstrated exceptional chart organization, data collection, and efficient collaboration within healthcare teams. Her experience also extends to Emergency Room Staff Nurse and Emergency Room Charge Nurse positions at both St. Joseph’s Hospital and 121 Combat Support Hospital/Brian Allgood Army Community Hospital. In these roles, Shana showcased her adeptness at delegation, education, patient care coordination, and crisis management.

Notably, Shana has volunteered her time with the St. Joseph’s Day Surgery Unit Council Chair, 121 CSH Family Readiness Group Leader/Co-Leader, Seoul American Elementary School PTO President, Eastern Social Welfare Society Infant Caretaker, and the American Red Cross. This community involvement reflects her commitment to making a positive impact beyond her professional endeavors.

Shana holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, earned in May 2011. Her pursuit of knowledge and growth continues through ongoing education, including courses in age-appropriate care, HIPAA, infection control, CPR, medication administration, diabetes care management, and ethical considerations.
